And we're off!

This morning after a long year of hard work and preparation we left for Belize! Our morning started quite early as we met up at Toronto Pearson Airport at 4:30am. Though a little tired, the excitement of the next 6 weeks had us eagerly awaiting take off!! We have safetly arrived in Belize City and will be parting ways tomorrow morning to our different districts! The primary team will be heading to San Ignacio, Cayo for the first 3 weeks of initiative! Chantal, Abby, Lauryn, Connor and Sam will be heading inland to teach in two local primary schools. We are filled with joy and happiness to begin teaching in our classrooms and cannot wait to share our adventures with you! The secondary team; Mo, Avery, Kieran, Laura and Nicole, will be heading to the town of Punta Gorda in the Toledo District. There we will be teaching in two higschools Julian Cho HS and Toledo Community College. We have taught at these schools is the past and are excited to continue our partnership with them and see some familiar faces! Our first day of teaching will be this May 2nd, and we cannot wait to get into the classrooms!
