We Went West, Now Headed North

Hey everyone!

We've officially taken off!  We left Toronto Pearson Airport in the wee hours of the morning today and are currently in Edmonton, about to begin our final lag of the trip to Yellowknife (...to be followed by a 4 hour drive to Fort Providence). 

Although we're only 7 hours into our journey, we've already learned a few things...

1. Edmonton is not in Manitoba... or Calgary.

2. Dry soup weighs a surprising amount.

3. ​When you travel back in time you can have two breakfasts.

We will be arriving tonight and will be settling into our new temporary home in Fort Providence.  We're looking forward to learning more about the community and putting faces to the names that of the people that we've been in contact with over the past few months.

We're excited to use our previous experiences as QHO Peer Educators and Executive members to contribute to the start of a new intitative!  

We will have a lot more updates once we arrive, so stay tuned!
