Almost Time!

Hello Everyone!It is almost time for us to head off on our big adventure. The Peer Educators (PEs) and Program Directors (PDs) will fly out on Saturday, April 23rd to Belize City. Our Program Directors, Laura and Jenna, are so excited to be directing the new team and returning to Belize for a second time. Our Peer Educators, including Siobhan, Peter, Sierra, Bianca, Lindsay, Samantha, Samara, and Nicole are looking forward to what lies ahead!The PE's were hired in October, and since then they have been attending bi-weekly group meetings to train extensively in Belize Health Family Life Education curriculum, practice teach, and learn about the beautiful Belizean culture. This month, we had final preparation meetings, including a thorough Belize specific meeting and a pre-departure meeting hosted by the Queen's Health Outreach Co-Directors. Additionally, there was a QHO Banquet where we had the opportunity to celebrate our achievements as an organization over the past school year.
